What we've been up to!

So.... how long has it been since I updated this? We all had a great summer and now, heading into fall, I am going to do a better job of keeping this current! We spent a million hours with playdates, sleepovers, swimming and ARGUING constantly (the kids I mean, Scott and I spend about the same amount of time pulling our hair out because of it - grin!) Jackson and Tate are really growing up - Tate is in first grade and Jackson in fourth - homework is not as bad as it could be and the weather is still great enough to play outside after school! The kids have some wonderful friends and we are so happy that they are able to spend so much time with them and are so happy because of it!

Tate has started putting on 'shows' - they are so fun to watch - although trying to tape them is pretty hard - she is taking after her Aunt Janet ......well, hopefully!

Spring is here!

Spring has sprung in Charlottesville and Tate is back to taking her horse back riding lessons - She is so dang cute up there on that HUGE horse - It is the one thing that gets her out of bed on Monday mornings! p.s. I don't know how to rotate the picture yet!

Superbowl!

Soooo...... I just hate football and chili for that matter, but last night we had a spur of the moment superbowl party with a few friends - I, of course, hung out in the livingroom talking to Carol while the rest of the party sat glued to 'what was the best game ever' - yeah right! At least I was able to get the dishes clean while the last 3 minutes (3 hours more like it) of the game was on! Here's to next year and my plan NOT to have a superbowl party!

Have I told you about our new little boy? Well, not so little but so adorable and fun - He is 4 1/2 years old, he came from a home that had trained him and loved him well - he walked right in the front door and became a part of our lives!

We had the best time in Mexico! Usually, Scott and I go away together - this year we took the kids and really didn't know what to expect........it was great - the weather wasn't 100% great, but we had the best time and are already looking forward to next year!
